The Kapuas Watershed and Protected Forest Management Center always synergize with the 2019-2021 Forest and Land Rehabilitation implementers, the last meeting discussed the obstacles and anticipation of work so far in the field (22 and 28 April 2021).
Various stages have been carried out because this work is multiyear or multiyear.
All series of activities were re-evaluated by the Kapuas Watershed and Protected Forest Management Center as the owner of the 11,000-hectare work.
One by one, evaluations are carried out, sometimes some things unexpectedly become problems in the field.
But because everyone has agreed that this activity must be a whole, the synergy can run well.
Both by executors of work, supervisors and assessments in the field, as well as the Kapuas Watershed and Protected Forest Management Office itself.
In the implementation of the first year (Y0) 2019 this work was fully escorted and received full assistance from the Government Guard and Regional Development Team of West Kalimantan Province.
In 2020 or the second year (Y1) even though the Government and Regional Development Guards no longer exist, full support and assistance are still obtained by the Kapuas Watershed and Protected Forest Management Center as UPT of the Ministry of Environmental and forestry by the Police, Indonesian national army and Attorney of West Kalimantan province.
According to the Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya: a Watershed is a landscape with all the functions and policies in it, it must be managed together with stakeholders.
According to Minister Siti, the policy orientation is to save lakes, reservoirs, settlements, and natural tourism objects. Then provide expansion of employment opportunities, encourage and anticipate the people’s timber industry, as well as provide economic benefits for the people in the future.
Oriented to the future, then in 2021 the Kapuas Watershed and Protected Forest Management Office always invites executors and was laid to synergize with stakeholders.
So that unwanted things can be overcome and the solution can be provided with the best solution.
