teraju.id, AFS Indonesia – Voluntary Service Programs (18+) are a fast growing sector in Germanys exchange market. Therefore AFS Germany will offer two internship-positions in 2018 for a maximum duration of 12 month. If you are interested in working within the AFS-network on facilitating a variety of programs for adult participants and engage in our vivid volunteer development please find the details below:
Assignment: First, communication with participants of orientation seminars (sending out invitations, answering participants questions and special requests, compiling and managing participant lists. Second, administrative tasks (assistance in handling payments and bills of expenses, administration of contracts). Third, work with our database Enter. Fourth, seminar logistics: administration of our stationery and seminar material stock, packing and shipping material to seminar venues. Fifth, take part in local and national AFS volunteer activities: orientations, trainings, seminars, presentations and help volunteers and staff to organise those activities.
Expected Qualifications: Good knowledge of German is essential (min. B1 or equivalent). Knowledge of and commitment to the mission and principles of AFS Intercultural Programs. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Good Computer skills and affinity for new applications and programs. Enthusiastic personality. Preferably experienced AFS volunteer/YPGER returnee older than 21 years.
General Information: Working hours: 38,5 hours per week with flexible handling of time schedules. Working during evenings and weekends is expected on some occasions. This will be compensated during normal working hours. Starting Dates in 2018: February 1st and July 1st . Duration: Minimum of 10 month up to 12 month possible.
Finances: You will receive a monthly payment of 620,00 EUR to cover accommodation, food and part of your allowance. You will have to cover yourself: costs of international flights, fees for visa and residence permit and exceeding part of your monthly allowance. Covered by AFS GER within the financial framework of the BFD (Federal Voluntary Service) or the EVS (European Voluntary Service): medical insurance, liability insurance, social security, job related national transports, partial payment of job related local transport. There will be no host family placements, AFS GER will assist in finding a room or flat.
