Fast Breaking with Portuguese and Polish Guests

teraju.id, Poernama – Sunday (11/06), KEP- In the Social Sunday of the week, KEP had guests from Malang in ‘Meet the Expert’ Session. They are Portuguese and Polish travelers, including Natalia(29), Anna(28) and Olla(25). Three of them are currently working as lectures of politics, psychology and English language in the University of Muhammadiyah Malang who are also college students of Indonesian language in the same University they teach.

Right at 4:00 pm they visited Social Sunday graders who were learning English at KEP. They delivered proper salutations and strived to make KEP’s graders feel comfortable to speak in English during an hour of lesson.
By having such guests this week, graders were expected to improve their skills and courage to practice English in interactions.
After having the conversation with KEP’s participants, the 3 guests and KEP’s volunteers broke fast together while sharing their experiences with the volunteers about the activities in Indonesia and their own countries.
They were scheduled to stay with some volunteers at KEP until Tuesday (13/6). They toured around Pontianak city, before continuing their journey to Sentarum Lake in Kapuas Hulu.(Dhea/Christina)
