Sulthan Syarief Abdurrahman Mosque, already exist since the first time Pontianak Sultanate build their existance, it has yellow and white colour, and near Kapuas River. When you get in, you will find a lot of pillars but the most attracting is 6 pillars from the wood.
Based on the story of the local people, one of this pillars is comes from the tree that exist very long time ago. And from the story, that tree is a place of Kuntilanak and first sulthan of Pontianak pray to Allah and move them to other place.
In the past this place is still full of tree and they blow a cannon to repel wild animal. And 1 more thing this mosque stand when there are still no people around and still jungle. There is also one unique thing, there is no people can hug the pillars in here.
