Launch of cyber e-commerce for trade for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Indonesia

As MSMEs account for 99% of all business in Indonesia and provide 89% of private-sector employment in the country, their role for the country’s economy is critical and even more so following the aftermath of COVID-19.

In conjunction with BSSN, the Ministry of Cooperation and UMKM of Indonesia, and regional governments, the AIC and BSSN have selected 100 MSMEs for the program. In a COVID-19 context, the training will be delivered online using webinar and online tools, supported by peer-to-peer learning methods. Content will be practical and cover the areas of design and development of cybersecurity awareness/culture, risk management and mitigation, developing cybersecurity incident response plans and managing cyber incidents.
